Thanks Elaine for commenting on my review of Children From The Sea by Lookman. I am pleased that my review has generated discussion and debate. I feel like I have done my job. As I said in the review, the book is well written and entertaining. The author looks at the world the way things are rather than how they could be. Someone else may read this book and see it a totally different way. In the end, it's a book that causes thought and discussion and, in my mind, that's a good thing.

Hiya pal , thanks for the ping , I have been so busy with family commitments , I never get much time on the net now , I have my new windows and blinds in , Yesterday the guy finished putting up my new fence , Dads Alzheimers is still quite slow but MUm is failing more in body than in mind , I still have them both though and for that I thank God pal , please tell everyone I am thinking of them and missing them .

Then click on Enter and pick a year. 1997 will get you to "Dispatches from St. Petersburg" (325-page memoir of a year in Russia with 60 color photos), "The Butcher of Leningrad" can be found on any page from 2004-2007. (And choose the most recent version, 1.22. )

Thank you for asking. Yes, certainly, I have quite a lot of stuff on the subject of how Love has governed my life.
I have been a writer for a long time and I assembled a lot of that on a website: Nebraska Writer</>

But, specifically:

This is a link to "Dispatches from St. Petersburg", a free PDF memoir [325 pages, 60 color photos] that describes the year I lived in Russia, and everything that happened as only a writer can tell it.

This is the only story I officially got published last year.

This story contains a lot of coarse language, but a lot of people say it's the best one I've ever written.

Then again, this is a 270-page novel "The Butcher of Leningrad" that is set in St. Petersburg.
